Have owned and operated this unit for almost 4 years now. NO problems. Am using for one person, and expect that to extend the life. Like not having to bend to get things in or out of the dryer. And the convenience, located in large bath closet, between bedroom & closet. NO more stairs for me.

had it for years

I've had this machine for years and thrown everything in it at once- packed! My wife hates that but it has kept going for our family of four. I am pretty handy with stuff and have replaced the impeller in the pump when I ran the wrong stuff through, and two years ago when the bearing and its bracket gave out in the dryer (at 15 years) - replaced that as well. It needs some more work again, but I don't want to pay for a new one. Time and a 100 in parts or buy another. At any rate, I'd still get the same unit!

Despite the Dreadful Buzzer
I still rate this product 5 star! The noisy buzzer reports almost broke the deal for me, but after carefully researching stacked machines, I came back to the Frigidaire. I'm so happy I did. The product is everything past reviewers I've read have raved about and is an ideal addition to my newly constructed laundry room/basement. At Amazon's price, I couldn't find a comparable product offering front load with stainless drums anywhere. Both these features plus quiet operation & less water consumption were very important to me. BTW, Amazon's great!

really great machine
This machine is great. Love the stainless steel drums and the front load. The buzzer is REALLY loud but we're using the machine in our store so we can hear it when we're in the front of house.
